Israels right to exist

I have recently received an e-mail from one of our local Left-wing loonies. He published a piece about Israel in the local paper and asked for my comments on it. The paper does not have free access, but he posts his stuff on his own site as well:

In his e-mail, he summarized the points as follows:

1. Bush used a speech in a foreign country for domestic political gain. He
falsely accused Obama of advocating appeasement.
2. he used the bible to claim that Israel had a divine right to exist.
3. I compared the Jewish immigration to Palestine to the European
immigration to America with similar results. Both killed or drove out the
native people.
4. US foreign policy toward Israel must take into account the Palestinians.
