George, it would be much more honest to say - I AM AGAINST GAY MARRIAGE BECAUSE OF MY RELIGION - and leave it at that. when you try to rationalize your opposition - it makes you look stupid, sorry... and i don't want you to look stupid. just say it as it is - I THINK OF GAY SEX AS A BIBLICAL SIN.
then, no further arguments and discussions are needed. but....by trying to make arguments that people like Spam and me can understand - you discredit and cheapen your position.... because there is no "rational argument" against gay marriage. it does not exist.
