Чтo скaзaть? Я был и oстaюсь бoльшим любителем Сaры Пейлин. Хoдили рaзгoвoры, чтo сaмoй ей избрaться в президенты не грoзит, пo крaйней мере сейчaс, нo oнa будет в этoт рaз этaким кингмейкерoм. Дaй-тo Бoг!

Palin states the whole thing really is not about Newt Gingrich vs. Mitt Romney but rather the GOP establishment vs. the Tea Party grassroots and Independent Americans. She indicates she respects Romney and his success but expresses serious concerns about his record and whether he consistently applied conservative principles. Palin also refers to his false attacks against Gingrich....
Radio host Rush Limbaugh also criticized the Romney team on Thursday for putting together a coordinated attack against Gingrich.

хм, а разве Гингрич - не часть этого эстеблишмента?
возможно, сейчас эстеблишмент поставил на Ромни, а не на него,
но я помню, что говорилось ровно то же самое, "GOP establishment vs. the Tea Party grassroots and Independent Americans", когда в NY-23 выдвигались Деде Скозафава (от "эстеблишмента", во главе с Гингричем) и Хоффман (от ТиПарти). Мне не нравился Хоффман, но Скозафава оказалсь хуже.
скажу честно, я был большим сторонником Гингрича, но то был первый звонок,
гадость, подложенная Райану (который даже не был кандидатом и конкурентом Гингричу), и всем республиканцам, за его "право-эктремистский" план проголосовавшим, была вторым,
и сейчас атака на Ромни слева (опять же, мне не Ромни жалко, а идею свободного рынка) третьим :(
(атака насчет налогов была справедливой, и тут Ромни сам виноват, я уже читал спекуляции на тему, тоже, кстати, интересная была статья по подлости: начиналась она с того, сколько и как он, наверное, укрыл от налогов, раз не хочет их показать, а заканчивалось, "значит, Ромни - вор и мошенник", при этом автор забыл, что все это построено на предположении :)

И если Кристи имеет ввиду второй эпизод, с планом Райана, то я не могу с ним не согласиться
другое дело, что я-то и за Гингрича против Обамы с огромным удовольствием проголосую, и что, возможно, во многих других вопросах он правее Ромни
