I will tell you what it is. I am not even going to mention that it is the Democratic voters who loot and burn, and that it is the Dem voters whose anticipated reaction made businesses to board up windows before the election. Not in this post. I want to talk about an issue with a much broader part of the Democratic electorate.

In 2008, Obama got 69.5M votes. In 2012, he got 65.9M. 5% of those who voted for him in 2008 were disillusioned enough four years later (thus, not every single Dem voter in incapable of making reasonable conclusions, though the percentage is rather low). But - even this was not sufficient for the Reps to win in 2012. Romney picked up some votes, compared with McCain in 2008, but it was not enough.

This was so even though Obama had decisively demonstrated himself to be a complete anti-American piece of crap on a scale unheard of before. The reason is that Romney was a very crappy candidate as well. Quite a few Republicans just did not want to vote for him. Republicans did not just want to get Obama out of the White House. They wanted to replace him with somebody worthy of their votes.

The Democratic voters are different. Time and again, many of them have been saying that they do not care about how bad Biden is, how corrupt he is, they do not even care who is it that is running against Trump. They voted exclusively because of their hatred for Trump, and they do not even care about who would replace him.

They vote because they hate, and this is a major difference.
